I'm an Adelaide-based lawyer, fiction/fantasy lover and creative writer, using whatever spare time I have to work on my first Young Adult novel.
Something of Substance is a coming-of-age story about Morgan Murphy's journey through the tumultous teenage years.
On the cusp of starting high school, Morgan's world is turned upside down when her father is sent to prison. Lost and confused, she is determined to find out what happened, or more importantly, why it happened.
The more Morgan uncovers, the deeper she falls. Will she follow in her father's footsteps or forge a path of her own?
